Encinitas Wine and Food Festival 2019 Wrap-Up

On June 1st, 2019, the Encinitas Rotary Club held the 16th annual Encinitas Rotary Wine and Food Festival at the Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. The Festival attracted over 1,100 people from all over Southern California. The wine, food, and entertainment were stellar and this year, PSCDC had an incredible experience. This year's event raised a total of $125,000 with the help of 17 beneficiaries, including PSCDC. After distributions between the beneficiaries, PSCDC received $4,900 from our ticket sales and sponsorships which will go into continuing our community services for our residents.

A signature event of the Festival was the big raffle that included big prizes for winners to take home. Prizes were categorized in five different categories: Home + Garden, Family Fun, Dining, Wine, and Sports + Fitness. PSCDC continues our two-year streak of selling a winning raffle ticket this year. A PSCDC staff member at Imperial Valley, Ana Cruz, won in the Sports + Fitness category and received over $1,000 worth of prizes. We're looking forward to keeping the streak going next year as well!

Donations from our amazing partners allowed us to contribute greate prizes for the raffle again this year. We were able to add a cutting board and wine glasses from Point Loma Credit Union, San Diego Sockers tickets and items, dining certificates from In-N-Out, and San Diego Padres tickets to the different prize categories. Thank you to our partners for their donations!

This year, PSCDC provided additional sponsors for the festival. PSCDC would also like thank the individuals who purchased tickets to the festival or bought raffle tickets!
