Respond to the 2020 Census online here, by phone here, or by mail here. Have you registered your household in the 2020 Census yet? The United States Census Bureau began their daunting challenge to accurately count the number of residents in the U.S. in January [1] and will continue to be open to census submissions until September 30th of this year, a month earlier than they previously estimated [2]. For the first time in its history, the census went online to encourage households to self-respond and make responding as easy as possible. Chatham Village Apartment's 'Park in Market' Provides Assistance to Residents

Elderly and disabled residents from Orange County's Chatham Village Apartments are receiving extra assistance with food during the new 'Park in Market' program. The program, which is held on Fridays, is designed specifically for those unable to physically attend the usual food distributions. Although designed for our senior and disabled residents, other families and residents are always taken into consideration, with enough food available to be distributed to everyone. During the end of July and the beginning of August, the Orange County PSCDC team worked with volunteers to personally interview residents that the program would cater to. PSCDC's San Diego Team Stays Active During July

July was a busy month for our San Diego PSCDC team who have been providing residents and communities with as many different resources as they can gather. San Diego Resident Services Coordinators hosted food distributions and helped unemployed or underemployed residents by preparing budgets, connecting them to job opportunities, virtual job fairs, updating resumes, and referring them to the county's free COVID-19 testing sites. To get people moving and healthy while maintaining social distancing in July, PSCDC teamed up with local partners to host Zoom Zumba workouts!
